Before we get started on the journey of understading prompts and its usage, let us first familiarize ourself with the prerequisites and installation steps to set up Freddy Copilot seamlessly within your development environment.

You need to have an active setup to test/try out these prompts.

In this section, lets try to understand what tools and accounts you need to get started with Freshworks App development using Freddy Copilot for Developers.

To kick things off, you would first need

  1. An active Freshworks Developer Account
  2. An active Freshworks Product Account such as Freshdesk, Freshservice or other
  3. Node v18.13.0 or higher
  4. FDK 9.0.0 or higher
  5. An active API Key for Freddy Copilot for Developers as part of beta program.

Visual Studio Code Setup

Skip this step if you already have Visual Studio Code 1.74.1 or higher installed.
